Suou Kyogen - Theater Costume

Hand sewn costume jacket for the comic version of the theater, often shown alongside Noh 能 called Kyogen 狂言. The suou 素袍 was worn by characters in the lower samurai class. Done with a tsutsugaki 筒描 (resist dyed fabric), there are five family crests with crossed arrows in an octagon across the top.
